We are able to develop the engine management software further than Audi can as we only have the UK laws and regulations to take into account. In a sense – it’s not the manufacturer at fault!

In order to maintain solid reliability the top manufacturers always slightly detune their engines to cope with the fact that the owners generally will not look after them so well once they are out of warranty.
People use the wrong weight and quality oil, poor fuel, forget to change the air filter and so on..
