James wanted us to inject a little bit of extra performance to his Audi A4 140. The car, it has to be said looks stunning. Its quite a rare combination of grey with read leather interior and a red folding top.

The problem with these cars however is the weight. In our opinion the 140bhp convertible version of the A4 with its narrow power band struggles with the extra weight of chassis strengthening once the roof was chopped of at the factory.

First job was to up the torque and develop a map that provides a nice smooth power curve from below 2k rpm right up to the end. We are not interested in developing engines with massive power for two seconds that fade to nothing like an on-off switch.

We brought the turbo in earlier, a bit harder but for much longer.

All our maps are developed to operate well within the limits of the cars components such as clutch,gearbox etc.

Next was the Eibach's! James confessed that really he just wanted it lowered to maximise its aggressive stance and so the wheel's filled the arches better.
